What You Need to Know

Scoring System
Like every NCAA basketball pool, you get points every time you choose the proper team to win a game, and you get 0 points when you choose the incorrect team to win a game. The object is to get the most points possible.
How many points does one get for a win?
Points = (ROUND NUMBER) x (# OF PEOPLE WHO DIDN'T CHOOSE THAT TEAM TO WIN)
Example: You are the only person to choose Bayside High to win in a second round game, while all 19 other people in the pool choose Big State to win that game.
If Bayside High wins, you get (2 x 19) = 38 points. If Big State wins, everyone but you gets (2 x 1) = 2 points.
This point system obviously gives a greater expected return for choosing upsets than most other scoring systems.

The cost for the pool is five dolla. FIVE DOLLA!! Option 1: You will be sending that money to Daniel, so be sure to get his mailing address by e-mailing him here no wait here no wait e. Option 2: Pay with Paypal. Yes, for real. Payments need to be sent right away, yo.
If you do not send in a Paypal payment or email Daniel asking him for his mailing address within 2 hours of submitting your picks, we will delete your picks. And not the kind of deleting where you just press CTRL-Z and you get them back. They will be gone. So do it now!

The three players with the most points at the end will receive a cool payout.
- First Place: 1/2 the total pot
- Second Place: 1/3 the total pot
